Fiona is a class “C” Tall Ship. The smallest of the classes,
but what she may lack in size she makes up for in uniqueness. She
has been around the world 2 ½ times. Believed to be the oldest boat
in the world with these credentials. She has been through the
Straits of Magellan, around Cape Hope and through the Panama Canal.
She was Built in 1912 in Poole, England, before the Titanic and the Panama
Canal!

She is a very special ship and we are honored that we
have her original plans, original bill of sale, the 1912 Yachting Monthly
article on her launching and all logs for her world voyages. She has
never been restored. She has all of her original planking, frames,
decks, deckhouse and spars. The ships name has never been changed
and she has only had 5 owners in her 94 years. She still carries oil
running lights, oil binnacle light, sextant, lead line and taff rail log.
She carries for her main armament two 4-lb. Stern chase cannons
for saluting notable vessels and for naval battle reenactments - and
perhaps for fighting off pirates in the South China Seas!
Fiona is a living museum dedicated to the preservation of
traditional maritime life.
She is of the time of iron men and wooden ships!
