Tall Ships - British Yacht Fiona - 1912 Gaff Topsail Cutter
Yachting Monthly Article - June 1912

From: Yachting Monthly June 1912. The 17-Ton Yaul Fiona: This little cruiser will interest some of our readers. She has just been built at Poole, and was designed by E.P. Hart to meet the requirements of her owners, Messrs. Durell. The general appearance of the yacht is some what unusual, but the uses to which a boat is to be put govern most features in her design. Below decks the cabin work is carried out in mahogany and pitch-pine and as will be seen the accommodation is good. It is probable that at a later date a motor will be installed below the cockpit.
